I came, I saw, I believe

If youth be defined by childlike exuberance, irrepressible naivety, prodigious adventure, aberrant beliefs and blithe dispositions_ then may I be forever young.
I would dwell in the cascading rainbows of truth that are never ever black........ or white because they belong to innocence only inherent to the young. I would live  believing with absolute certainty that the world is my oyster and the ends of the earth are worth embarking for desperate lust masquerading as love.
That my one true love shall perish of despair for lack of sustenance from my primordial love. That without my being, there is not the other......him. Yes, may I forever believe that I am indeed a demigod.
May I never wake up to the jadedness that sometimes permeates ones being with age. Be forever untouched by its power to transform a masterpiece  to a parody.
May I forever hold on to its melody that forever brings a memory of a better time with the promise of exciting tomorrows.......
                               Oh wow, I love writing

@ Jo, I'm sure you can remember how desperately involve we used to be, like the world would end if he didn't call...LOL - I love just thinking about the torture. We were less set in our ways then.
