That is really sad news. I've always hoped that she would somehow work he way through all her emotional and psychological problems but that was not to be. No one knows right now what happened the police are saying unknown course but some reports say she died after a three day drinking binge. If that is indeed true, then this really was a sad way to go. This is a sad example of how destructive drugs and alcohol are.

yeah she was very wild. Very sad she was only 27 so young to die

ReplyDeleteThe saddest thing about this as Anon 2 pointed out is her age. When someone is 60 something and goes this way you almost find it easier to accept. This lofe had hardly begun.
What a tragic loss to the music world, and to Amy's family. She could have become a great diva had she been able to defeat her internal pain.

I've been thinking about her parents too today. It sounds like they were as supportive as they could be, I read a snippet if what her dad had to say during one of her rehab stints. This is hard for any parent. Shame.

It is really sad. Many artists suffer from depression and other mental disorders. It's too bad some can't get help on time.
